Unicity, a hybrid of housing, shops and offices, is being built in the heart of the capital, in the Gare district. Combining architectural and societal innovations for the greater comfort of its occupants, this beautiful architectural complex is part of a cosmopolitan and urban atmosphere.
Developed jointly by Thomas & Piron Luxembourg and IKO Real Estate, this project will be among the first to foreshadow the metamorphosis of the district.
A mixed real estate complex, Unicity comprises 35 studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments, ranging from 34 to 116 m², as well as 4 commercial spaces.
Unicity plays on architectural contrasts. Its two historic facades date from 1935 and will soon be enhanced by the new golden elevation of the main office building.
Adjacent to the recognizable red gable of the Fonds du Logement will be the residential building offering studio to 2-bedroom apartments and shops.
The Unicity complex contributes to the sustainable development of the City of Luxembourg, in particular through the protection and revaluation of the built heritage, energy efficiency and the mixing of functions and publics. It reduces the number of trips between work and home, allowing working people to free up time for extra-professional activities.
The mobility offer will soon be completed by the streetcar line that will connect Hollerich to the city center and to Kirchberg, as well as to the Cloche d'Or and Leudelange. New roads and lanes dedicated to soft mobility will also support the metamorphosis of the district, guaranteeing ideal accessibility, both from the city center and from the border countries, by car or by public transport.
All our prices are quoted with a mixed VAT rate of 3% and 16%, including cellar and parking, based on the 2023 transitional regime that sets the normal VAT rate at 16%*. In case of non-renewal of this rate beyond December 31, 2023, the global price of the project will be updated on the basis of the new VAT rate in force, according to the progress of the project and the related invoicing. In this case, the new VAT rate will be applied to the constructions not yet completed.
